Research Interests

My research interests revolve around developing robust software to analyse brain imaging and behavioral data for the study of mental disorders in particular schizophrenia, brain injury and chronic traumatic encephalopathy. I am an advocate for open science practices and the development of health technologies that are less biased, more inclusive and equitable.

About me

I grew up in France (BEng, Université de Technologie de Belfort Montbéliard), went to graduate school in the US (MSc, University of Kansas) and Canada (PhD, McGill University), worked at the Psychiatry Neuroimaging Laboratory in Boston (Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School) for 19 years, and am now full professor at the École de Technologie Supérieure in Montréal in the software engineering and information technology department.
